The Organisation

Our client is a leading global EPC contractor, that develops and delivers innovative and strategically located solar farms across regional Australia. From site acquisition and partnering with landowners, they take projects through engineering design, planning approval, grid connection, financing & investment stages, and then construction and operation.

They bring together industry leaders with a strong track record in the development and construction of large-scale renewable energy projects. The team have collectively developed multiple renewable energy projects across Australia, Europe and the Pacific Region and are specialists in the land use, planning, engineering, energy and finance sectors.

The Role

Reporting to the Global HR Business Partner and Group GM, you will be responsible for all Operational HR matters across the APAC region.

This is a newly created role driven by exponential growth and opportunity in the region. This HR Generalist position will have a core focus on supporting recruitment activities; employee onboarding, retention and development; and support the business and management with employee relations. You will work with the global HR team to ensure the local business has the people support it requires, and work on proactive measures to advance the business culture and talent attraction/ retention.

Key Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To
  • Provide employee relations support
  • Provide advice to Managers and Directors
  • Provide assistance to the recruitment process
  • Preparing of workforce reports
  • Ensure HR best practice is inplace and practiced
The Candidate

The Successful Candidate Will Exhibit
  • Relevant degree qualification
  • 3+ years Demonstrated experience providing HR Generalist services / HR Operational support
  • Ability to adopt a consultative approach in the delivery of HR services to managers and/or directors
  • 1+ years experience in employee relations
  • Strong ability to use negotiation techniques and influencing skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Experience working within a similar industry – renewables, construction, engineering, mining etc
