    Our client is an ASX listed mining services business headquartered south-east of Perth, with further offices over east and internationally.

    You'll join a dynamic global team of 250 + employees, with a wider base of contractors on various project sites through Australia, Africa and South America.

    Working from feasibility through design and construction through asset management, project delivery and maintenance, this organisation provides an all-inclusive service model. As such, you'll recruit a wide range of roles, for multiple speciality areas.

    Job Description

    Reporting to the HR & People Lead you will be responsible for:
    • Advertising roles on various job boards / company careers page
    • Review of resumes, candidate vetting (phone screen), and involvement in face to face interview process
    • Candidate pooling and relationship management (use of networks to drive attraction and hiring)
    • On-boarding and induction activities
    • Ensuring all compliance requirements are met and tickets/accreditations/test results etc. are appropriately recorded and maintained
    • Collaboration with leadership cohort to ensure workforce planning objectives are met
    • Regular reporting on recruitment activity and outcomes
    • Regular review and development / updates (as required) to recruitment processes
    • Provide recommendations for change and improvements to the recruitment function (technology, processes, partners, work-flow, etc.)
    • Support to workforce planning activities

    The Successful Applicant

    To be considered for and successful in this role you will offer:
    • A strong trades background working in engineering / construction / mining on larger projects or sites
    • Established personal and professional networks to lean on, to drive hiring
    • A solid 5 - 7 - 10 years' experience in recruitment for mining, engineering, construction etc.
    • In-depth understanding of what scaffolders, riggers, welders, pipe fitters, crane drivers, electricians, leading hands, site supervisors, construction managers etc, do
    • Confidence and maturity to deliver on both the operational and strategic aspects of this role
    • An approach that is process-driven, organised, proactive
    • A personality that is naturally down to earth, diligent, driven and hard-working
