    Job Description

    Reporting to the Group HR Manager you will be responsible for:
    • Recruitment, onboarding, inductions, visa requirements, probation processes, workforce planning (as relevant) for both BC and WC workforce
    • Supporting leaders for investigations, case management, performance management, grievances, terminations, fitness for work processes etc.
    • Working closely with payroll to ensure compliance to legislative requirements, supporting workforce for queries and concerns relating to their contracts or pay, responsibility for raising contracts, contract amendments, Award, EBA & Fair Work interpretation
    • Delivery of annual and biannual projects around salary reviews, bonus', employee survey, KPI's, performance appraisals, career development and succession planning
    • Organisation development associated with ongoing divisional restructures (across different depots across Australia)
    • Conceptualising and rolling out the group performance and training plans (quarterly schedule)
    • Leadership coaching
    • General transactional and administrative HR duties
    • Responsibility for ensuring the delivery of work aligned with annual HR strategy (quarterly outcomes)
    • Supporting the implementation and execution of the HR Strategic Plan and the Diversity Action Plan


    The Successful Applicant

    To be considered for and successful in this role you will:
    • Have a degree qualification with HR specialisation
    • Also offer relevant generalist technical skills and experience (circa 5 years or equivalent exposure)
    • Arrive with strong recruitment experience (ideally both WC & BC behind them - BC being key)
    • Offer demonstrated success in smaller HR teams or SME; understands how to - and is confident to - work autonomously + handle a broader scope of work and really has deep dived into the key pillars / been involved in absolutely everything
    • Have the ability to demonstrate achievements and history of 'adding value' in previous roles - proactive and has high standards for their work and work outcomes
    • Consider yourself down to earth, well presented, easy-going, engaging, articulate, professional, collaborative
    • Be someone social who values and enjoys building relationships, can influence others, offers excellent communication skills
    • Be driven to succeed, calm under pressure, offers strong work ethic, resilient
