    Our client is a privately held technology firm with sales channels in 25 countries and a vast, diversified product catalogue applicable to and utilised in 20 separate industry sectors.

    Growing and evolving via an acquisition strategy, this firm now has offices internationally, with the main corporate headquarters right here in WA.

    You'll join a dynamic, nimble, exciting and interesting business and help take them to a more sophisticated space in terms of the people, culture, policies, processes and overall organisational capability.

    Job Description

    Reporting to the CEO you will be responsible for:
    • Development of remuneration strategy, delivery on salary benchmarking, remuneration reviews etc.
    • Organisational development associated with recent and impending acquisitions
    • Conceptualising and rolling out group performance and training plans by division / level
    • Implementing an employee engagement and retention strategy towards an 'Employer of Choice' status for the firm
    • Diversity & Inclusion project work towards cultural change
    • Leadership coaching
    • Ownership of HR business unit's budget
    • Recruitment, onboarding, inductions, visa requirements, probation processes
    • Workforce planning, performance appraisals, career / performance development and succession planning
    • ER: supporting leaders for investigations, case management, performance management, grievances, terminations, fitness for work processes etc.
    • IR: working closely with payroll to ensure compliance to legislative requirements, supporting workforce for queries and concerns relating to their contracts or pay, responsibility for raising contracts, contract amendments, adherence to fair work, leave management etc.
    • General transactional and administrative HR duties


    The Successful Applicant

    To be considered for and successful in this role you will:
    • Arrive with minimum of a degree qualification with HR specialisation
    • Offer relevant, in-depth generalist technical skills and experience in a similar role
    • Be able to demonstrate solid experience recruiting for or working with technical staff (developers, engineers etc.)
    • Take a naturally innovative and nimble approach
    • Offer demonstrated success delivering an HR function that is bespoke to business needs vs. an 'off-the-shelf' model
    • Demonstrate your achievements and a history of 'adding value' in previous roles - you are proactive with high standards for your work and work outcomes
    • Consider yourself down to earth, well presented, easy-going, engaging, articulate, professional, and collaborative
