We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and passionate People & Culture Coordinator to join our team on a 12-month contract. We will consider part-time (0.8 FTE) and full-time applications.

This role will be responsible for providing administrative support across the employee lifecycle and supporting initiatives to drive and support our vision of creating a passionate and engaged workforce achieving next-level success.

Reporting to the People & Culture Manager the successful candidate will have operated in a similar role for 2 plus years. Passion for organisation and process accompanied by exceptional rapport building skills will ensure you can partner with the business to provide relevant and meaningful business support.

Your key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Talent acquisition, including interviewing candidates, interview coordination, references and phone screening
  • Coordinate the onboarding and induction process for all new starters
  • Coordinate the biannual performance review process
  • Maintain digital copies of employees' records and ensure the integrity of all employee data
  • Schedule meetings, HR events and maintain agendas & role model our RW values and culture first ethos
  • Support the coordination and booking of training
  • Assist with all internal and external HR related inquiries or requests
  • Assist with the production of reports on general HR activity
  • Management and issuing of employment agreements and movements
  • Contribute to the development, review and implementation of HR policies and procedures
  • Support WHS management and initiatives
  • Continuously improve Human Resources document templates to ensure they are up to date and appropriate for business use
  • Support the implementation and ongoing maintenance of systems such as ENTO, Xref, LEVER and any people-related systems implemented
  • Adhoc HR projects
To Be Successful In This Role You Will Have
  • 2+ years experience in human resources or related field demonstrated
  • Tertiary Qualifications in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, Law or other related fields or equivalent experience background in a previous HR coordinator role
  • Understanding of the recruitment process and lifecycle
  • Strong rapport building skills & strong attention to detail
  • Highly organised
  • Strong sense of urgency
  • Proficient in the Google suite of products
  • Self-motivated
  • Thirst for knowledge
  • Growth mindset and willingness to learn
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills
  • Independent thinker, self-starter, and team player
  • Ability to identify business challenges and potential solutions
  • Ability to interpret Modern Awards to provide general advice
  • Ability to work to tight timeframes with limited supervision
  • Understanding of contemporary HR practices and legislation
