About PEER

PEER was established in 1986 and has grown to become one of SA’s largest employers in the building and construction related industries and mining industry. We specialise in the recruitment of apprentices and trainees and employ over 400 of the highest quality candidates. PEER has a multi-award-winning track record and provides training to more than 250 school students and up to 500 Apprentices and upskills more than 3,500 tradespeople.

Due to an exciting period of growth PEER is currently seeking to employ a Recruitment Consultant who is experienced in high volume end to end recruitment and has the passion and drive to match young people with their ideal career.

About The Role

  • Deliver specialised recruitment services that onboards quality Apprentices and Trainees to support PEERs goals
  • Deliver client specific recruitment programs that attract a diverse range of candidates
  • Sourcing, screening and onboarding large volumes of candidates
  • Provides Host Employers with quality Apprentices and Trainees to support their business
  • Work collaboratively with employers and PEER team members to deliver an excellent customer experience
To Be Considered For This Role You Will Have
  • Proven experience delivering high volume end to end recruitment solutions
  • Excellent verbal and interpersonal skills
  • An ability to remain calm under pressure
  • A sense or accountability, ownership and attention to detail
  • Ability to identify strategies to attract candidates to work in remote locations, as well as attracting new candidates for prospective Host Employers
