The opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity in Talent Development for a Markets Learning Program Manager to join us on a 9 months contract. This will be fixed term, full-time role open to all EY office locations across Oceania.

The primary purpose of the Oceania Markets Learning Manager is to support the Oceania Markets Learning Lead deliver the markets learning strategy for Oceania. This involves promoting, project managing, evaluating and delivering the Markets curriculum across the Oceania region.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Support the implementation of the firm’s Global Markets curriculum and leading its continued deployment and assessment across the Oceania region
  • Work closely with the Oceania Markets Lead to build our people’s capability in support of implementing markets initiatives, monitor the progress of the initiatives and make the necessary adjustment to make them successful
  • Work closely with the Oceania Markets Lead on special projects as required by Markets leadership
  • Engaging with senior members of the Oceania Talent Development Team and relevant business leaders to connect the Markets curriculum to the firm’s strategy and key business initiatives;
  • Work closely with Service Line Leaders and Service Line L&D leaders to support and deliver go-to -market strategies and initiatives
  • Support the certification of all Global Markets learning programs, where relevant
  • Managing the deployment of programs - covering materials, content, catering, facilitator selection, train-the-trainer and participant briefings;
  • Facilitation of markets and other non-technical programs across all business units;
  • Contributing to, leading and coordinating limited program development and customisation;
  • Evaluating programs and providing feedback to local program managers and global designers on enhancements needed;
  • Contributing to the development and close monitoring of the annual learning budget
  • Creating and oversight of all internal communications relating to Markets as well as ensuring currency of internal markets reference points online
  • Support other cross learning initiatives as required


And Attributes For Success

To qualify for the role you must have
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • Demonstrated success in building solid internal and external relationships at a senior level with a proven track record of success in driving a learning agenda
  • Solid background in facilitation and training with minimum 5 years’ experience
  • Excellent interpersonal and team building skills, with strong evidence of self awareness / versatility
  • Solid influencing skills to work with many diverse stakeholder groups

Ideally, you’ll also have
  • Strong team worker with ability to coordinate and work as ‘one team’
  • Ability to ideate and think differently about learning deployment
  • Solid commercial acumen and business awareness
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders across the organisation at all levels
