The Company

A business boasting impressive growth and success globally, with a recent IPO listing, this is an opportunity to join a supportive, cohesive global HR team as the stand alone HR business partner for the APAC region.

The Role

Supporting the APAC region and working closely with Sydney based and APAC executives, as well as global HR Business Partners, you will work with 70 employees in Sydney - with the majority of the team sitting within marketing and sales and boasting impressive tenure.

Your role will see you build and execute the HR strategy with the executive leadership team during the APAC expansion and beyond, leading the operational day to day HR function as well as supporting with global projects and initiatives.

Reporting into an inspiring Director based in New York, the tight knit HR team across Europe, the UK and the US offer a supportive, warm and friendly environment within a fast growing, high achieving business.

The Duties

  • Build strong relationships with the senior leadership team 
  • Conduct regular meetings with the local leadership team to build trust, credibility and provide expert HR consultancy and guidance
  •  Champion employee engagement and develop creative solutions to foster an inclusive, performance based culture utilising Culture Amp
  • Develop ideas and provide guidance on opportunities for organisational design, workforce and succession planning, developmental training opportunities and global projects
  • Drive local initiatives and awareness programmes such as wellness, diversity, green and charity committees
  • Partner with global HR colleagues to drive cross collaboration, global awareness and best practice
  • Analyse trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to improve programs, policies and processes

The Ideal Candidate

  • Culture is the primary focus for this role – you will be adept at working in a fast paced, dynamic and growing business and will be passionate about the HR function
  • Experience as a generalist/ business partner in Australia is essential
  • Experience supporting sales and marketing teams will assist you in hitting the ground running.
