What You Will Be Doing

The People Wellbeing Advisor role sits within the Organisational Development Team and is responsible for the development and delivery of a range of initiatives and programs that promote and support the wellbeing of our people.
Our People team have secured funding for 4 exciting and innovative wellbeing projects to be rolled out at Peninsula Health over the next 12 months. The People Wellbeing Advisor will provide oversight and coordination of these key projects ensuring that key deliverables are met and stakeholders are informed and engaged. Key projects include:
• Everyday Heroes Wellbeing Champion project
• A Space to Think and Connect
• Occupational Violence Human Centered Design project
• Occupational Violence Virtual Reality Training
Key Responsibilities
- Research best practice employer led wellbeing strategies and initiatives
- In collaboration with the Director and Lead, and under the governance of the Wellbeing Committee, make recommendations and undertake a key role in the development of a staff wellbeing strategy
- Develop action plans and implement wellbeing initiatives arising from the wellbeing strategy
- Oversee the Post Incident Response Staff Support and Employee Assistance Programs
- Be a key liaison within the People Experience & Performance team to provide advice to managers and staff in addressing and improving staff wellbeing
What You Need

We anticipate you will have:
- Extensive experience in Human Resources
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in HR, psychology or related discipline
- Demonstrated project management skills
- Demonstrated ability to deal with sensitive information in a confidential manner
- Excellent presentation, training and facilitation skills
- Demonstrated ability to proactively consult and engage with staff
