JOB DESCRIPTION

This company is recognised as world leaders in floral innovation, research, and development, priding themselves on product design, quality, and customer service. We are seeking to recruit a Human Resources Administrator, with an emphasis on providing support to the leaders & staff on related functions of the business.

Reporting to the HR Generalist, this role will be focussed all areas of HR, including workplace health & safety and training.

About the role:

  • Development of new employee contracts & onboarding process, including inductions.
  • Maintenance of personnel files including documentation for compliance purposes.
  • Ensure training requirements are maintained (first aid, wardens etc), in each state and organise updated when required.
  • Assistance with recruitment processes, including advertisements, interviews & onboarding.
  • Assistance with general administrative duties, including mail, filing, email, enquired and producing correspondence for employees.
  • Coordinate, manage and book all business-related travel required for employees.
  • Manage Visa & VEVO compliance.
  • Involvement in HR strategies & projects.
  • Provide assistance with WHS related compliance & the RTW Coordinator.
  • Management of various maintenance requirements of the workplace as required.
  • Develop & maintain social events & requirements.
  • Other general administrative & service duties as required.

About you:

  • Bachelor’s degree with a major in Human Resources is essential for this role.
  • Some HR workplace exposure (including internship) would be preferable, but not essential.
  • Basic understanding of employment law, Industrial relations, WHS & workers compensation legislation.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to show emotional intelligence in dealing with various stakeholders within the business.
  • Ability to prioritise, identify creative solutions & manage change.
  • Flexibility with interstate travel.
  • Solid PC skills (Microsoft Office Suite)

This role would suit a graduate, who is relatively new to the Human Resource industry and is seeking to learn and grow their skills & knowledge within a diverse company, working alongside highly experienced HR professionals.
