Specialist - Change Management - 0UNV

Primary Location WA-Perth - Inner-John Tonkin Water Centre - Leederville
Organization Safety & Wellbeing

Fixed term until Fe 2022
$122,176 plus superannuation

About the role:
You’re a self-starter, multi-tasker and an excellent relationship builder; a face-to-face, rather than an email person.

Maybe your current role doesn’t allow you much room for creativity and problem solving. As a Transition Lead within the Safety Taskforce Team, your imagination will be put to better use by supporting positive change across the business.

Here’s your opportunity to bring people together and help them understand there are better ways to manage safety.

What the role will involve:
Better contractor safety starts with better conversations. This is a key principle you’ll be rolling out within this role.

To help you quickly find your feet, you’ll learn to become an expert user of the new Contract Management Framework.

Then you’ll be off, travelling to various Water Corporation sites to influence and improve contractor management consistency.

You’re interpreting stakeholder and contractor concerns and making proactive suggestions to solve their issues. You’re collecting feedback, removing OSH business-speak and simplifying everything into a language everyone understands.

You and your colleagues are the people who are building strong relationships and rolling out positive change.

Working with the regional leadership teams help you influence an improved approach to contractor safety. Together, you’re solving problems and removing the risks.

About you

You’re someone who understands change and how to work with people to make it happen. In this role, your personality is more important than your exam results.

You love seeing positive outcomes, you’re a do-er with a relaxed sense of humour and warm approach complement your influencing skills.

When it comes to project timeframes, you’re on the ball. You love a challenge, have good computer literacy and know how to take a lead without being prompted.

Apply: If you are interested in the above opportunity please submit a covering letter and resume that best demonstrates your ability to meet the requirements of the role.

Please note: By applying for this role, you are consenting to your current and previous line managers being contacted as references. It is strongly recommended that all internal applicants advise their line manager of any applications for acting or permanent positions prior to applying.

As part of the recruitment process you may be required to complete pre-employment screening which may include a medical, qualification check, police clearance and Australian working rights check.

Applications close 1st June 2021
