Bupa is committed to Psychological Health and Safety and Wellbeing in the workplace and due to our growing team, we are recruiting a Mental Health & Wellbeing Specialist.



This role is responsible for the execution of our Wellbeing strategy, and designing, delivering, and driving initiatives that benefit the wellbeing of our workforce. This contributes to our wider Psychological Health and Safety strategy, that aims to successfully manage psychosocial risk, and foster and maintain psychologically healthy and safe working environments.


How will I help?

Key accountabilities include:

  • Design, deliver and support awareness campaigns, toolkits, innovative and creative programs of work and resources on mental health and wellbeing-related topics for our workforce of over 20,000 across Bupa A&NZ.
  • Support wider team of Psychological Health & Safety Partners and Head of Psychological Health & Safety in wellbeing-related activities across Bupa A&NZ.
  • Research and conduct external benchmarking activities to provide contemporary and relevant data and insights, essential for the design of robust wellbeing initiatives.
  • Analyse and monitor wellbeing, health, and safety data to identify psychosocial risk across the business and determine ways to address these.
  • Raise awareness and communicate wellbeing information and knowledge in a relevant, effective, and actionable way, to drive engagement with our people through strong communication skills.

What do I need?

  • Tertiary qualifications in Psychology (minimum 4 years)
  • Minimum of two years' experience working in workplace mental health and wellbeing
  • A passion for employee wellbeing and driving organisational change
  • Demonstrated experience of the design, development, and execution of initiatives within a workplace that addresses mental health and/or wellbeing related topics
  • Highly organised and task orientated with excellent time management skills, to deliver initiatives within a designated deadline, and respond to business needs in a prompt, caring and professional manner
  • Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills - including both written and verbal
