ABOUT THE ROLE

An exciting opportunity has become available for a HR Coordinator to join the value-driven team. The HR Coordinator will primarily be responsible for supporting recruitment and provide staff with support and advice throughout the employee lifecycle and ensure the HR services are delivered effectively.

Key Responsibilities

Administers pre-employment checks including enrolments, changes, and terminations.
Processes required documents through payroll and insurance providers to ensure accurate record-keeping and proper deductions.
Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions.
Reconciles benefits statements.
Conducts audits of payroll, benefits or other HR programs and recommends corrective action.
Assists with the preparation of the performance review process.
Assists with recruitment and interview process. Tracks status of candidates in HRIS and responds with follow-up letters at the end of the recruiting process.
Schedules meetings and interviews as requested by the HR Department
Makes photocopies; mails, scans, and emails documents; and performs other clerical functions.
Files documents into appropriate employee files.
Assists or prepares correspondence as requested.
Prepares new-employee files.
Processes mail and booking of boardroom.

ABOUT YOU

Black Duck is looking for a highly motivated and organised HR coordinator. You will work well both independently and as part of a team and will manage your time well to respond to competing demands.

To be a successful candidate ideally you will have:
A degree, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience
Demonstrated commitment to providing excellent customer service and a high level of attention to detail
Demonstrated experience in the coordination of recruitment activity
High level communication skills
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to deal with a range of people internal and external to Black Duck
Demonstrated organisational skills
Proven ability to interpret HR policies and procedures in order to provide advice and decisions on policy and entitlements
High level of proficiency in the use of standard application software such as the Microsoft Office suite

You will also need to be willing to undergo a pre-employment medical assessment and drug test.
