Full Job Description
Role responsbilties in Leadership, Operations, QA, Policy, Procedures and Reporting and Management.

My client is seeking an experienced HSEQ Manager. With a diverse workforce and a workplace culture that is underpinned by a foundation of safe production and environmental sustainability making my client an employer of choice.

You will be responsible for:
Ensuring the effective management of health, safety and environment activities across the business in line with their global framework.
Tasked with implementing pro-active measures to raise awareness and heighten understanding of established standards and industry best practice resulting in a strong safety culture.
Focused on promoting and driving continuous improvement in HSE processes ensuring the consistency and quality of execution in the conduct of risk assessments, audits, investigations and corrective actions to minimise risk and enhance performance.
To oversee the Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure processes and activities are delivered in line with global and local business system elements and ISO 9001 certification requirements.

Demonstrated safety leadership and continuous improvement within HSEQ
Demonstrated Leadership capability with the ability to mentor and develop others.
Commitment to a culture that underpins a Zero Harm philosophy through hands on approach.
Expert knowledge and understanding of Quality, Health & Safety and Environmental legislation, management systems, best practice and appropriate industry specific qualifications.
Knowledge in the management of audits.
Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain relationships with clients, management and staff.
Strong negotiation and influencing skills.
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
Demonstrated understanding of ISO standards.
Demonstrated understanding of incident investigation techniques such as ICAM or similar.

Tertiary Degree in an Engineering or Health Safety and Environment related discipline
Graduate Diploma in OHS/WHS
Cert IV in On Site Environmental Management
Certificate IV in training and assessment - desirable.
Qualification in one or more of Quality, Safety & Health and Environmental disciplines (ISO 9001 standard applicable) - desirable
