Job Description

The Energy division of ACCIONA is seeking an experienced recruitment/ TA professional to join the Melbourne head office on a maternity leave cover, fixed term contract (roughly 12 months).

This hybrid role will have a focus on managing recruitment activities for the Australian head office (Melbourne CBD), coordinating training, and assisting with general HR duties required throughout the employee life cycle.

This is an excellent opportunity for a progressing recruitment/ TA professional to build or broaden their experience into general HR and training functions within a fantastic, close-knit HR team and company with a positive, collaborative culture.

Key responsibilities:

  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment and on-boarding process
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand needs whilst providing support and advice on best practice hiring practices
  • Coordinate new starter and induction process with all new employees
  • Source and pipeline talent using a variety of traditional and innovative methods
  • Use ATS (Workday) to monitor and process all recruitment activity in a timely manner
  • Manage relationships and recruitment processes with external agencies on hard to fill positions
  • Liaise with HR teams in Spain in relation to recruitment processes, training reporting and related HR activities
  • Coordinate training needs for all staff for their development and health and safety requirements
  • Track and report on training needs of all staff to ensure compliance
  • Ensure HR administration activities are kept in line with organisational changes and staff records are kept updated
  • Ensure job descriptions and role classifications are updated and current
  • Support the HR Manager and General Manager HR with ad-hoc projects and administration support

Required Skills and Competencies

  • Previous recruitment and human resources experience in an equivalent role
  • Previous experience working in the Energy, Engineering or Construction industry (highly desirable)
  • Experience using Workday (highly desirable)
  • Previous experience using Learning Management Systems
  • High level attention to detail and time management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
  • Flexibility attitude and the ability to be an effective team player
