Role Overview

We are currently seeking an experienced People & Culture Partner to join our team, fondly known as “the crew.” You are the ultimate relationship builder and care deeply about our culture, as well as guiding and supporting our scaling needs as we continue to grow. Success in this role looks like this: You will develop, iterate and execute a people strategy with your client groups - one which is connected to the company, business and People & Culture crew objectives. In partnership with the broader People & Culture crew identify needs and use existing resources in creative ways. You will be instinctive enough to jump on critical business issues & opportunities when you see them, fearless enough to get operational items resolved, and savvy enough to work with all levels in a matrixed environment. You will help to elevate management and leadership capacity by truly understanding needs and perspectives. You will build strong, respectful relationships and overcome obstacles with fortitude.

You Will

You will play a key role in helping to shape and drive the talent agenda supporting business goals. Specifically, you will work closely with our C-suite (known as our foundations leaders) to identify people opportunities, strategies and solutions to challenges within the business such as:

  • Be a trusted advisor to the leadership team on all talent and people related issues including attraction, retention, employee performance and communications.
  • Coach people managers to become increasingly more effective at leading, managing and developing their teams, employees and cross-functional relationships.
  • Lead all stages of the employee experience from hire to retire, and everything in between. You’ll also partner with crew across Finder, in and outside of People & Culture, on global projects.
  • Advise on local programs, processes, policies and people products we build internally.
  • Manage and resolve simple to complex relationship untapped opportunities, tensions, and conflicts by conducting effective, thorough and objective investigations.
  • Build cross-location relationships within the P&C team and other departments to ensure the crew members are provided with a consistent level of experience and all HR practices are “well-translated” into location-specific reality.
  • Developing internal communications strategies in partnership with your leadership team and our PR team.
You Have
  • Experience in a vibrant, innovative company

  • Proficiency in Google Suite (Sheets, Docs, and Slides)
  • Impeccable communication, interpersonal skills, and stakeholder management.
  • Proactive and volunteers to offer support and partnership to our People & Culture team.
  • Approachable, people-first attitude.
  • Proven ability to thrive in the fast-paced environment and ambiguity, can-do attitude coupled with successful experience in delivering HR projects.
  • Strong sense of confidentiality and ethics.
  • Good understanding of business needs, wide approach to problem-solving.
  • Readiness to pivot quickly.
  • Strong commercial acumen and understanding of drivers surrounding people decisions.
Nice To Have
  • Intellectual curiosity to bring new insights to the business, preferably in a multicultural environment.
  • Proven ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, make the best use of limited resources.
  • HR Generalist / Manager experience in the start-up environment will be beneficial.
