We are seeking a world-class strategic leader to manage a team of 'builders' who will drive ID&E strategy for APJC (India, Australia, ASEAN, Japan and GCR) and land impact at scale.

This role can be based either in Australia, Singapore or India.
The main responsibility of the role is to develop a data-driven ID&E strategy for the region, deliver on global goals and initiatives across APJC, keeping the complexity of the local culture in mind and holding leaders accountable to the organizational ID&E goals. Working with the ID&E Talent Management, Talent Acquisition, and ID&E points of contact who support the business verticals, you will lead the development, launch, and reporting of global ID&E solutions and strategies. You will also be responsible for the results of this strategy and the impact they have on the business, AWS-wide. You will design and manage programs to train, transition, and continually develop diverse talent. You will also coach leaders in the business and HR to work to ensure we are maximizing the inclusion, diversity, and equity opportunities for current employees. You will assess risks, anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, make tradeoffs, and balance the business needs as you implement ID&E program execution. You will report on the outcomes of all our work and strive to provide transparency and accountability across the organization for all of these initiatives.

The primary responsibilities are to:
· Develop and deliver a data-driven global ID&E strategy across ASEAN, India, GCR, Japan and Australia. This will include partnering with process owners worldwide across multiple functional groups.
· Drive or lead the resolution of critical, endemic, or diversity problems. Identify risks/opportunities in strategies and/or organziational structure(s). Resolve high level escalations.
· Deliver on the defined D&I metrics. Impact hiring, attrition, and /or retention metrics for multiple client team(s), across organzations and throughout the employee life cycle
· Design and manage ID&E programs to train, transition, and continually develop diverse talent, including influencing for interview loop participants, Bar Raisers, Managers and other leadership roles.
· Develop communication for stakeholders at levels up to SVP and out to specific regions.
· Actively develops and mentors others within their own team and across stakeholders in multiple countries.


As an established ID&E expert in region, you come with:
· Subject Matter Expertise in managing Inclusion, Diversity and/or Equity Management programs across multiple global organizations with numerous stakeholders up to SVP level.
· Proven track record in people management - directly or remotely
· Experience driving meaningful action around Inclusion, Diversity and/or Equity Management that has positively impacted the organisation
· Data, metrices and detail-oriented, and with excellent problem-solving abilities.
· Strength in influencing team members worldwide and highly collaborative skills
· Ability to influence without authority while also being able to work with significant autonomy.


· Business acumen and knowledge of societal systems of bias to advance workforce diversity, equity, and inclusion across talent lifecycles.
· Experience in leadership coaching
· Understanding of various jurisdictions in Asia Pacific
