We support each of CommBank’s business units from recruiting for their talented teams, through to leadership development and training, internal mobility, advising on employee relations, and delivering remuneration and benefits programs. Talent Acquisition is responsible for the strategic and operational planning and execution of all recruitment activity within CBA. We support business leaders to attract, select and hire the best talent to meet the Group’s current and future workforce needs.

We looking for great all-rounder TA Partners with experience managing your own client portfolio independently. Your expertise is in building candidate relationships and you have a track record of sourcing and engaging directly with external talent. Your strength is in developing strong stakeholder relationships and problem solving and you utilise data to share insights and are up to date with market intelligence. Do work that matters:

As a Talent Acquisition Partner, your role is key to delivering the right talent at the right time to support the Group’s vision.

You will collaborate closely across a large Talent Acquisition community to continuously improve our service offering and execution in all of these areas.

You will report directly into the Talent Acquisition Manager and your key responsibilities will include but won’t be limited to the following:

  • Promote and build a high performance culture through the attraction, assessment and selection of the highest calibre candidates available

  • Gain a sound understanding of designated business units and ensure recruitment is aligned to their requirements and strategy

  • Identify and implement bespoke and relevant sourcing strategies to deliver service requirements and meet stakeholder expectations

  • Anticipate stakeholder needs, providing a level of service that is both proactive and consultative

  • Build, manage and maintain talent pools from both the passive and active job seeker market, using them as a first source for all recruitment activity

  • Actively coach and up-skill hiring managers in best practice talent acquisition, assessment and selection techniques

  • Collaborate with the wider TA community to support key projects and initiatives aligned to our Group TA Strategy

  • Identify and execute ideas for continuous improvement and innovation throughout the recruitment life-cycle.

We're interested in hearing from people who have:

  • You are a recruiting professional from a fast-paced in-house, on-site, or agency environment

  • You are experienced in utilising assessment methodologies as a tool to supporting hiring decisions

  • Previous experience recruiting Business/Retail Lending professionals

  • You have a track record of leveraging a

  • variety of sourcing channels strategies to attract diverse talent

  • Proven relationship management, influencing and negotiation skills within cross-divisional teams and across a broad range of stakeholders
