The Opportunity:

The Internal Recruitment Consultant will have responsibility for providing effective and high-quality recruitment support to all facets of the Recruitment lifecycle. Working with the hiring managers and with assistance from the People and Culture Advisors, you will be responsible for the management of the end-to-end recruitment process, including maintaining HRMS and databases, fulfilment of department vacancies, employing sourcing strategies for our niche positions and development of new and innovative recruitment ideas.

You will have a recruitment background with ample technical IT experience.

This is a 8-month fixed term role with the potential of becoming permanent while offering the flexibility of working from home.

In this role you will be primarily responsible for:

  • Review recruitment requests and ensure sufficient detail is provided to understand each position.
  • Source, screen and select suitable candidates for all positions via a variety of sourcing methods.
  • Work with the P&C Advisors and hiring managers to understand the role and the type of person needed to succeed in the role.
  • Organise interviews in conjunction with hiring managers and P&C Advisors
  • Complete all pre- employment checks including psychometric tests, reference checks and background checks.
  • Act as a point of contact for all recruitment related enquiries and managing vacancy requests.
  • Keeping the HRMS systems and databases up to date.
  • Managing the onboarding process for new employees.
  • Review and update of recruitment related processes as required.
  • Any other ad hoc administrative and recruitment related tasks.

We’d love to hear from you if you have:

  • 2 years’ experience in a talent acquisition or in house recruitment role
  • Experience in IT recruitment or IT technical knowledge is highly desirable.
  • Sound knowledge of maximising candidate attraction using key candidate attraction channels, such as networking, job boards, social media etc.
  • Experience writing job advertisements, screening candidates, scheduling interviews, and ensuring a positive candidate experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills appropriate for a range of business levels, with the ability to influence.
  • Organised with the ability to prioritise tasks and work to tight deadlines.
  • Ability to work autonomously, take initiative and ownership.
  • Ability to effectively collaborate in a team.
