  • Lead 3 rostering coordinators to juggle 700 FTE, for 42 sites - top tier clients
  • Act as conduit between HR & Recruitment for workforce planning / pipelines

    Our client is a multi-disciplinary services and personnel business delivering to multiple industries, across both the private and public sector.

    Based in Ascot, you will work in a tight-knit corporate office of around 45 staff.

    You will be aligned with one particular pillar of this business and support the workforce aligned with it for their rostering requirements.

    Parking is available on-site.

    Job Description

    Reporting to the Operations Manager you will:
    • Step out from day-to-day operations to manage the strategic and leadership aspects of rostering and workforce planning and management
    • Develop, implement and maintain rostering guidelines
    • Monitor rostering to ensure shifts are allocated in line with best-practice / legislative requirements
    • Ensure the correct application of industrial instruments (awards, agreements)
    • Conduct workforce planning activities to get 'ahead' of tenders and newly won work / projects
    • Analyse and report on rostering trends to set up adequate rostering strategies
    • Develop and implement policies, procedures, improvements, as required
    • Train and coach your team toward best practice and performance
    • Oversee compliance requirements
    • Work closely with HR and Recruitment to develop workforce strategies
    • Maintain and develop client relationships


    The Successful Applicant

    To be considered for and successful in this role you will:
    • Offer 3 - 5 + years experience in rostering, scheduling and personnel management for diverse casual workforces
    • Ideally have some leadership / team management experience behind you
    • Have strong client relationship management skills / be used to working on behalf of a group of clients
    • Arrive with applied knowledge of time & attendance and rostering systems
    • Arrive with applied knowledge of industrial instruments and an ability to interpret and apply awards & agreements in the context of rostering and workforce planning
    • Offer demonstrated ability to forecast and plan work activities
    • Be a true team-player - collaborative & approachable
