About the Role

A rare opportunity has become available for a HR Administrator/Recruiter to join our small and busy team to provide support over a 12 - 15 month maternity leave contract basis. This role would be ideal for a recently graduated university student who studied Human Resources and has a minimum 1 - 2 years experience. This hands-on position will provide strong administrative support to the HR team and requires someone with a 'can-do' attitude who is willing to give any task a go.

Key Responsibilities for this role include but are not limited to the following:

  • Providing end to end recruitment support from advertising through to the onboarding stage.
  • Prepare new employee documents and induction packs,
  • Conduct new employee inductions
  • Assist with general employee queries,
  • Process payroll, to provide assistance in the absence of our payroll officer,
  • Maintain personnel files to ensure they are accurate, complete and compliant,
  • Assist with projects that will enhance the HR presence within the company,
  • Assist with the coordination of HR events,
  • Assist with general administrative tasks including filing and data management.

About You

This role requires someone who can adapt well to manual processes, is highly motivated, flexible with working hours and has a positive attitude.

To be considered for this opportunity, you will be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Currently completed a Tertiary degree or Diploma in Human Resources or related discipline,
  • Previous experience in recruitment and/ or HR administration is essential,
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills,
  • High attention to detail to ensure accuracy with all HR related processes,
  • Ability to multi task and prioritise your daily responsibilities,
  • The ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders,
  • High level of confidentiality and professionalism,
  • High level of emotional intelligence
