The opportunity

We are looking for a Manager to join the Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) team based in Melbourne. You will help our broad range of clients understand and address their EHS challenges and strategically help them to advance their EHS performance. You will work closely with our team leaders and clients to design and implement the right solution based on leading models, frameworks and technology.

Your key responsibilities

You will work as part of a leading and multidisciplinary team across a range of industries, assisting organisations to transform how they approach EHS. This will include contributing to strategy, risk management, culture change, leadership, analytical frameworks and tools to help clients succeed and navigate complex regulatory environments.

Skills and attributes for success

To qualify for the role, you must have:

  • Minimum of five years demonstrated EHS experience in either the professional services/consulting industry or equivalent operational EHS experience
  • Understanding of relevant EHS legislation, regulations, codes of practice and management systems
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Project management experience and the ability to manage multiple deadlines
  • Problem solving and analytical skills
  • Proactive approach to take initiative and identify new opportunities

Ideally, you’ll also have:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in engineering, environmental or health sciences (e.g. psychology), human factors, safety science, or business will be highly regarded
  • Exemplar Global auditor and Cert IV in Training and Assessment qualifications are desirable
  • Understanding of the design and implementation of EHS management systems
  • EHS audit experience.
