JOB DESCRIPTION

Our client is a dynamic and growing food manufacturing company committed to delivering a diverse product offering to their end customers.

This position would suit someone who has worked in a HR Coordinator / Officer position, and is wanting to take the next step. This is a solo role, so you must display strong levels of initiative and be self-driven.

This role will see you:
  • Directly managing and implementing business requirements relating to all people and organisational needs
  • Taking responsibility for employment, policies and procedures, overseeing industry awards and managing workplace safety initiatives
  • End to end recruitment
  • Developing training and developing programs
  • Coaching, mentoring and training staff in leadership positions
  • Working with senior management to achieve business strategy objectives
To be successful in this role, you must possess the following experience / attributes:
  • Experience within a HR Coordinator position OR HR Manager within a small business
  • Leadership and excellent communications skills
  • Tertiary training in Human Resource management or Business equivalent
  • Strong understanding of OHS principles, policy and legislation.
  • Strong understanding of Industry Awards and Worksafe methodology.
  • Proven experience in conflict resolution
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • High levels of enthusiasm and energy
