HR & Recruitment
Source: uWorkin

At Compass Group we are not about maintaining the status quo. In fact, over the past 18 months our business has seen significant growth. We’ve moved into new markets and industries than ‘pre COVID’ times and have a broader service offering than before. You can say we have ‘pivoted’ well.

From a people perspective that means an increase in recruitment demand by 25% from previous years, in a very tight labour market. So, we’re definitely the ‘special’ team! All eyes are on us to expand our marketing reach, improve process, use technology to drive automation, to build pipelines and support our strategic diversity & inclusion commitments.

As the National Recruitment Manager, you will have the honour of leading a group of experienced advisors across the East Coast to deliver high volume recruitment outcomes across our Urban portfolio – which includes business, venues, education, defence, hospitals & aged care industries! Our teams provide a full range of hospitality, support services and trades roles varying from full time, part time and casual

Working with the GM Talent, this role based in either our Sydney or Brisbane offices, has the overall responsibility for recruitment activity and people movements across 50% of our business, nationally.

The skills, experiences and attributes that will make an individual successful in this role include:

  • A sense of humour first and foremost!
  • Recruitment leadership experience in a complex business environment, ideally leading geographically dispersed teams
  • Ability to optimise and prioritise conflicting demands in a fast-paced environment and work with short lead times and see responsibilities through to completion
  • Ability to effectively influence, negotiate and partner with diverse stakeholder groups
  • An agile, flexible approach to work and a willingness to roll your sleeves up and get the job done!
  • Continuous improvement mindset with an ability to use data to drive change and make considered recommendations to improve productivity

Success in this position will be measured by your resilience and ability to get in front on the business challenges.

Some travel is required nationally which will only aid your cross-business relationship building and your ongoing professional development.
