HR Advisor Learning and Development - Part Time

  • Salary: $82,608 - $89,065 per annum pro rata
  • Plus up to 14.5% superannuation (conditions apply)
  • 21.5 hours per week

Are you a self-starter interested in planning and progressing employee learning and development in an organisation?

Working within a friendly team of HR Advisors, this position will develop the City’s annual training plan and budget and facilitate the roll-out of corporate training, including permit training. The role will also oversee study assistance and facilitate the annual performance appraisal process.

This role will suit you if you are organised, comfortable using HR reports and excel spreadsheets, and have an eye for improving processes. If you enjoy driving the learning and development function, and also keeping up with some generalist duties – then this role is worth considering. 

Your covering letter will need to address the following criteria:


  • Experience in undertaking a needs analysis, development and roll-out of a corporate-wide training plan.
  • Experience in the preparation, monitoring and reporting of the training budget.
  • Experience using an HRIS and excel to record, report and analyse training or permit data for planning.
  • Facilitation of the performance appraisal process and conducting education sessions.
