In this role, you will support the Performance and Reward team in the development and delivery of Perpetual’s Performance and Rewards strategy, policies and processes. You will also be responsible for supporting the development and implementation of effective performance and rewards strategies across Perpetual and assist with facilitating the overall prioritisation and delivery of Performance and Rewards programs (remuneration benchmarking and data analysis, share plan management globally, global benefits management).

Sounds interesting? Here are some specifics about the opportunity:


  • Work with the PAC teams supporting relevant business areas to provide advice (i.e. benchmarking, data analysis, benefit interpretation) relating to existing remuneration policy;
  • Provide advice on market rates of remuneration across all areas of the company and manage data submissions for participation in benchmarking surveys;
  • Project management of the annual remuneration review process;
  • Provide project management, consulting and analytical support for short term incentive design and other remuneration issues to meet the business needs;
  • Assist in the management of employee share plans, including long-term incentive plans globally;
  • Maintain and develop an in-depth theoretical and commercial understanding of the People and Culture and Financial Services knowledge fields, industry trends and future business needs;
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with People and Culture Business Partners and the business to ensure alignment of programs and initiatives.


To be considered for this opportunity, your qualifications, skills and experience could include:


  • Tertiary qualification in a related discipline
  • Financial services or consulting experience desirable 
  • Strong understanding of, and experience in, core Performance and Rewards practices and related legislative and regulatory frameworks (essential to be considered for this role)
  • Experience in managing the delivery of core Performance and Rewards processes and programs (essential to be considered for this role)
  • Strong experience in data analytics, excel and other data management systems (essential to be considered for this role)
  • Excellent customer service and relationship management skills
  • Strategic thinker and commercial acumen
  • Ability to influence others and gain commitment.
