The Role

Reporting into the GM, People, Place and Culture in Melbourne this role works across all aspects of the HR remit. The People, Place & Culture (PPC) Business Partner is responsible for the implementation and success of people policies and initiatives. This varied role includes; support and advice, employee life cycle – recruitment, onboarding, remuneration processes, HR policies and procedures, culture and values, training and development, project management, health, safety and wellbeing, workplace and administration.

This role has accountability providing HR support to Alcidion ANZ as well as driving business outcomes through Group people initiatives.

Skills and Experience - Essential

  • Previous experience in an HR Advisor or HR Business Partner role
  • Demonstrated HR generalist experience, working ‘end to end' across the employee lifecycle
  • Knowledge and experience of Australian employment law and legislative requirements
  • Ability to influence, negotiate and build strong relationships with key stakeholders
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Proven problem-solving skills and ability to work to deadlines
  • Excellent planning and organisation skills
  • Proven ability to work autonomously


  • Qualifications in Human Resources or in a related discipline.
  • Experience in a specialist discipline e.g., learning and development, remuneration and benefits, recruitment, employee relations.
  • Knowledge and experience of New Zealand and/or UK employment law and legislative requirements.
