JOB DESCRIPTION

The Workforce Transition Specialist will partner with key stakeholders to implement workforce impacts and changes. They will work collaboratively within the People & Culture team and business stakeholders to efficiently and effectively deliver the people process required to facilitate the changes.

They will strive to achieve change in a way that treats employees with respect and maintains them as advocates and customers of AMP. Throughout all Workforce Transition activity, the role will strive to uplift the capability of business leaders to effectively deliver people change.

About the role

  • Determine the Workforce Transition timeline and plan in consultation with stakeholders
  • Responsible for day to day management of Workforce Transition Activities to deliver within the time, cost, and quality targets
  • Provide advice and coaching to the relevant project teams
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders across the detail of all workforce transition activity, including the management of risks, issues and capacity planning
  • Support leaders to manage talent throughout the workforce transition process including liaising with our Talent teams and outplacement provider

Role Specific Skills Required

  • Working knowledge of change management processes and disciplines
  • Strong coaching, consulting, and collaboration skills
  • Ability to influence across varying levels within business
  • Ability to use project management disciplines to plan and manage significant pieces of work

 

Capabilities & Experience

  • Strong experience of managing transformations, project management & implementation of organisational redesign and restructures
  • Substantial HR generalist knowledge and experience, particularly across employment relations and industrial relations
  • Experience working with senior stakeholders to facilitate people change outcomes
  • Experience working in Financial Services is highly desirable
