The position of Resource Analyst is a member of the Program Delivery Support team which has been formed in order to maintain a highly competent resource pool to fulfil resource needs of Project Management roles (including Program Managers, Program Analysts and Program Co-ordinators) and to provide specialist hands-on support for the Project Management community.

The Resource Analyst reports to the Director, Delivery COE and the role is to provide program support services across the portfolios such that a skilled and flexible resource pool of Project Managers, Change Managers and Business Analysts is optimized to support the organization's investment in change.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the successful management of a flexible and highly competent resource pools to fulfil the need of the portfolio of programs, projects and initiatives
  • Manage the onboarding and offboarding process for EPMO resources and the resource capability pools
  • Support the Resource Manager with the administrative management of the resource pools
  • Manage resource demand and supply through resource/capacity plans to underpin each portfolio and identify skill/competency shortages


  • Tertiary qualification in Business/IT/Finance or similar
  • 5+ years experience in Project Management, PMO, Portfolio Prioritisation/Resourcing
  • Resource Analysis - will be expected to contribute to the management of a flexible and highly skilled team of resources
  • Portfolio Management Best Practice - will be expected to present different scenarios, use data and facts to back up decision-making, use influence and negotiation to ensure prioritization of resources across the portfolios
  • Change Management - Will support the change management process, identifying key skills, onboarding of new resources and adopting a shared resource model
  • Stakeholder Management - will be able to build and maintain relationships across the business, from senior executives to project managers
  • Leadership - will lead a flexible supply/demand resource pool in the organisation as well as matrix management responsibilities for other people within the business and portfolios
