APS6 Recruitment Officer responsible for the delivery of innovative recruitment services. 6 month contract!

Your new company
Your new role will be within a small, high-performing and fast paced team within a large Federal Government Department.

Your new role
You will use your previous experience in Commonwealth APS HR practices to assist with end-to-end recruitment. You will work closely with internal stakeholders to:

  • Advertise and source suitable candidates
  • Arrange interviews
  • Conduct references
  • Conduct pre-employment checks
  • Process offers in this department’s online recruitment system
  • On-boarding of successful candidates

What you'll need to succeed

In order to succeed the capacity to contribute to the development of policy and recruitment frameworks through research and analysis of the APS agenda, stakeholder perspectives and best practice standards. Having experience in the operation and use of the Acendre recruitment platform is highly desirable.

Your strong written and verbal communication skills will be paramount to effectively communicate with stakeholders. Your experience in recruitment within the Federal Government will be highly regarded. You will be able to adapt to change and be able to effectively manage stakeholders at all levels and set expectations that will be met.
