About THE ROLE

In this newly created role, you will create, maintain and execute a single unified approach to deliver learning and development programs for all employees across our Head Office, Wholesale and Retail stores across Australia and New Zealand. You will manage and utilise our existing e-learning platform to facilitate digital, face-to-face and classroom programs ensuring that the annual training plan is delivered.

Reporting to the Head of HR and based at our Head Office in Banksmeadow, you will work closely with internal training resources and Divisional Managers to understand the training needs and ensure that training provided is completed on time. 

As you will be delivering learning and development programs, you must be able to manage your time effectively and be flexible to deliver a range of programs across the business and its dispersed store locations. 


Duties & Responsibilities

  • Create and implement online and face-to-face L&D programs and initiatives for all Divisions aligned to business objectives and training needs analysis
  • Facilitate and deliver programs in an enthusiastic and motivating manner utilising digital technology; creating a life-long learning culture
  • Manage a robust process for induction, training, maintaining records, process and procedures, company policy and compliance training deployment and updates
  • Demonstrate the effectiveness of L&D programs by providing regular training reports
  • Manage the performance management and e-learning platform including all administration and maintenance
  • Lead transition project to new e-learning platforms that may be required 


Skills, Experience & Personal Attributes

  • Cert IV in Training & Assessment required
  • Significant demonstrated experience within L&D and/or Training preferably within the retail industry
  • Previous administration experience using Online E-Learning platforms (LMS) and editing tools such as Halogen, Saba, Workday, Articulate or like software
  • A strong record of performance improvement post-training
  • The ability to inspire and motivate teams to deliver in challenging circumstances
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation and communication skills
  • The ability to manage multiple projects, under pressure with tight deadlines and prioritise training whilst juggling priorities
  • Excellent proven experience of facilitating learning programs to different sized groups and cohorts
