About the role

Our People and Culture team are going through an exciting period of evolution and growth, with several new positions created to better service our clients and to deliver an innovative and contemporary people strategy.

The Talent Acquisition Advisor will be responsible for delivering the end-to-end recruitment function across Yarra Ranges Council. Supported by the Team Leader Talent Acquisition, this position will partner with leaders to identify recruitment needs and challenges, implement tailored recruitment strategies to attract, identify and retain high performing talent. The position joins Council under a 12-month contract to support the development and implementation of a refreshed recruitment strategy and a new recruitment system (Technology One).

Supported by a new leader and a new approach, this position will flourish in a high-volume recruitment role that dares to challenge the ‘status quo’ of standard recruitment, experiments with new attraction methods and lets creativity and innovation take charge to service our internal clients.

What you’ll bring to our team

  • An ability to partner with leaders to develop suitable and creative recruitment solutions.
  • Experience in a high-volume end-to-end recruitment function.
  • A willingness to explore emerging technologies, recruitment methodologies and strategies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an emphasis on customer satisfaction.
  • Great time management skills to manage multiple recruitment campaigns and priorities.
  • Experience in Technology One, SuccessFactors, Comensura or similar HRIS is advantageous.
  • National Criminal History Check (Police Check)

Salary starts from $72,205 per annum (Band 5), plus superannuation
