  • $ 96,022.00- $ 109,805.00 (HEO8) per annum plus up to 17% superannuation *

The Senior Consultant Organisational Development and Design is part of the Organisational Development (OD) team within Human Resources.

About the role

In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for but not limited to:

  • Provide expert advice and evidence-based recommendations organisational design and change solutions that align with La Trobe’s strategic direction and cultural qualities and result in beneficial and measurable outcomes.
  • Partner with senior leaders to apply La Trobe’s change and organisational design methodology, using expertise to diagnose change needs and develop clear processes for diagnosis, planning, design, communication, consultation, implementation and successfully embedding.
  • Lead, design and facilitate the delivery of change projects through the collaborative development of organisational strategy, fit for purpose operating models, compelling narrative and need for change, aligned and optimal structure, future capability, desired culture and seamless transition.
  • Consult with, coach and influence leaders to understand, manage and embed the change framework and role model change behaviours.
  • Design, develop, lead, facilitate and evaluate other transformation initiatives, using knowledge of business, psychology, behavioural science and adult learning theory.

Skills & Experience

In this role, the preferred candidate will have:

  • A post graduate degree in Business, Human Resources, Organisational Development, Psychology or relevant discipline, or an equivalent alternate combination of relevant knowledge, training and/or experience.
  • Demonstrated experience and theoretical knowledge designing and delivering a wide variety of organisational design and change programs including restructures across a broad spectrum of staff.
  • Demonstrated experience and theoretical knowledge designing and delivering a wide variety of culture transformation initiatives across a broad spectrum of staff.
  • Demonstrated experience planning and implementing complex projects, including the ability to identify resourcing requirements.
