Job Description:

Bupa is looking for a People Advisor to support our Aged Care Business across the employee lifecycle through exceptional operational and administrative human resources support and service delivery. This role requires a broad level of research, influencing, planning, monitoring, implementation, and delivery skills. You will support the People Partners to develop project plans and support coordination of appropriate HR programs. Reporting to a Head of People, throughout this 12-month contract you will collaborate with your national People Team virtually, and some travel will be required. This role must be based in QLD, preferably Brisbane.

How will I help?

Key accountabilities include:

  • Provide timely and accurate HR advice and guidance across the business on policy, people process and Award interpretation
  • Actively support the implementation and roll out of new and cyclical initiatives
  • Implement people initiatives that attract, develop and retain talent and help to address the workforce shortage issues. Support the planning and implementation of a range of business initiatives and change projects across the business
  • Advise, guide and support managers and leaders with matters relating to employment relations with a specific emphasis on employee case management
  • Coach leaders and employees to build competency in using Workday and understanding policies and people processes

What do I need?

  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or an associated discipline are preferred but not essential
  • Desirable to have experience in supporting a variety of generalist HR disciplines including leadership capability, Employee Relations, operational HR delivery, talent management, organisational effectiveness, employee engagement and retention etc.
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Managing and measuring work for optimal quality and efficiency
  • Desirable to have experience using a HRIS system, preferably Workday
  • Proven ability to track and report a range of data and metrics
  • Experience coaching leaders and employees on people process, systems and policies
  • Stakeholder management across business and wider people team
