The Role
Working within a small team you will be responsible for assessing all the operators at the Carol Park site. You deliver a range of face-to-face training on topics including safety, compliance, and leadership as well as:
  • Facilitating workshops and capability programmes.
  • Use learning technology to digitally record competence against assessment guidelines and ensure any training and assessments are captured online.
  • Partner with Plant Department Managers, Quality Manager and EHS Manager where appropriate to ensure that all plant SOPs are reviewed and verified and adhere to necessary standards
  • Assist Quality Manager and HMOS Lead with any audit processes; providing documentation as required on the Plant Training and Assessment system
  • Deliver training as qualified and required
  • Source external and internal facilitators / training providers as required to deliver against training needs analysis
Your Experience
You will be a passionate training professional who has previous experience working within a manufacturing environment. You have a natural ability to turn the necessary, but sometimes not the most exciting content, into fun training programs that evoke participation and engage your audience. It would be fantastic if you had previous experience working with adult learning theories. You will hold a minimum qualification of a certificate IV in Training and Assessment and bring previous experience writing assessment guidelines. Critical to your success in this position will be your:
  • Demonstrated ability to build credibility quickly at all levels of the business
  • Excellent decision making and problem-solving skills; the ability to make sound judgements
  • Ability to work autonomously, remain organised to achieve goals within the desired timeframes
  • Solid verbal and written communication skills to effectively liaise with experts, leaders and operators and document processes, procedures and training & assessment records as required
  • The ability to make design and deliver simple and effective training interventions
  • Tech savvy and curious, with high learning agility and flexibility of style
