About The Role

We pride ourselves on our culture and its people. Oscar Wylee is seeking a proactive HR Assistant to join a fast paced, ambitious and close-knit and high performing team.

The HR Assistant plays a pivotal role to meet our existing and future talent needs to sustain company growth. Working with all levels of the management team, you will contribute to identifying innovative solutions support the HR team with a major focus on Recruitment and Onboarding.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build a talent pool for Oscar Wylees' current and future needs.
  • Candidate relationship building for existing and future position
  • Review and short list resumes
  • Track Candidate Screening and onboarding progress
  • Coordinate interview
  • Ensure smooth onboarding experience from coordination of reference checks to contract generation,
  • Staff wellbeing check-ins and event management
  • Ad-hoc administration and project work

About You

Working in a fast-paced smart casual environment. You will have a passion for people and the retail industry, to succeed in this role you will have:
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • A proactive and innovative approach to recruitment
  • Previous experience in high volume recruitment
  • Strategic thinking and able to troubleshoot
  • Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively
  • Must have excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Strong attention to detail, time management and organisational skills
  • Driven, resilient and positive attitude.
