About The Role

Council is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced HR professional to join the HR & Wellbeing team in the role of HR & Wellbeing Business Partner. The successful candidate will be relied upon to provide timely and accurate human resource policy and procedure advice to business unit managers.

Duties Include

  • Manage the end to end recruitment process for assigned business units;
  • Manage and provide advice and strategies for employee relations matters;
  • Manage the change process for restructures and operational changes;
  • Provide advice regarding development of new or changes to position/s;
  • Assist in preparing HR policies and guidelines.
About You

To be considered for this role you will possess:
  • Essential - Bachelor Degree in Human Resources/Business/Employee or Industrials Relations or 3+ years' experience in HR
  • Strong knowledge of NSW Local Government State Award & other relevant legislation
  • Ability to navigate a political environment and adapt to a fast paced and diverse working environment;
  • Ability to prioritise, multitask and a constructive contributing team player.
