About The Role

The Senior HR Business Partner (HRBP) forms part of a team that provides high quality internal HR consultancy advice, support and guidance, to achieve quality people focussed solutions, in response to the business needs of CPVV.

This position provides case management on complex people issues and assists other members of the HR team with the delivery and roll-out of organisational development strategies, projects and initiatives that have been developed for the business. The SHRBP is also primarily responsible for all the legislative, policy and procedures required to provide support and guidance in the areas of Occupational Health & Safety, Return to Work and Industrial Relations for the CPVV.

About You

Reporting to the Senior Manager Human Resources, The Senior HR Business Partner will have:
  • Demonstrated ability to initiate, build and maintain strong and effective relationships and partnerships with all levels of management within the business, colleagues, and other internal and external stakeholders including the ability to influence and negotiate to produce quality outcomes that contribute to strategic objectives.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide high level consultancy and coaching services and advice to managers and team members in the business on a range of complex people matters, including the ability to diagnose organisational development needs and respond with targeted strategic and integrated interventions.
  • Excellent understanding and appreciation of CPVV organisational context, business and government priorities, with the ability to influence and work collaboratively with managers to ensure best practice people management.
  • Excellent understanding of the relevant employment award/agreement and legislation, sound judgement and high level ability to interpret and analyse people policies in order to provide sound advice and guidance to managers, team leaders and team members.
