    Job Description

    • Partner with business stakeholders to provide HR and generalist advisory support across the full remit of HR.
    • Provide professional, business-focused advice and support to management and employees in relation to ER, IR, policy interpretation, remuneration and benefits, HR processes and systems, performance management workplace health and safety and supporting HR related administrative activities.
    • Adopt a coaching approach and provide information and advice to facilitate effective, consistent and empowering people management.
    • Provide end-to-end advice and guidance to managers in relation to performance and disciplinary management activities.
    • Ensure performance review processes and related activities are implemented.
    • Support management stakeholders to develop and implement succession plans for critical roles as identified.
    • Identify training and development needs, career development opportunities, talent management and retention requirements and facilitate the delivery of these programs.
    • Take a lead role in the development and implementation of HR projects and process improvement initiatives, as assigned.
    • Provide advice and guidance to stakeholders in relation to newly implemented initiatives and programs.
    • Provide high level advice in relation to workplace health and safety matters.
    • Promote workplace safety and actively seek interest from employees to participate in safety initiatives.


    The Successful Applicant

    • Tertiary qualification in a relevant HR field (essential)
    • Demonstrated experience as a progressive HR practitioner preferably within a retail environment
    • Demonstrated knowledge of employment and Safety legislation
    • Sound knowledge and understanding of contemporary HR issues and practices
    • Previous experience in managing the planning, development and delivery of change and communication activities
    • Well-developed influencing and organisational skills
    • Demonstrated leadership, collaboration and creative thinking skills and excellent analytical, verbal and written communication skills
