This is an excellent opportunity to join Vinnies Victoria in an exciting time! The People Experience and Operations (PE&O) team is one of three newly created Human Resources Shared Services teams delivering a full suite of Human Resources Management activities to the St Vincent de Paul Society Victoria Group.

The PE&O Team forms part of the Human Resources Division which encompasses Learning and Development, People Experience and Operations, HR Business Partnering & Workplace Relations and Safety.

The PE&O team’s purpose is to provide a full suite of systems and processes to support all HR functions, focused on end to end process delivery, using standardised systems and processes to deliver low cost, efficient and effective services to all St Vincent de Paul Society Victoria Group businesses.

Our team is passionate, collaborative and, above all, motivated by the good works of the Society. We have a wealth of knowledge to share via existing team members and have the privilege of welcoming some new comers into the team also. You will be joining a strong and supportive team who are excited about what the future will bring.

The People Experience and Operations Adviser will promote and drive efficient and effective attraction, recruitment and onboarding of staff, members and volunteers to the Society and VincentCare Victoria ensuring employees, volunteers and members have a positive experience at every interaction.

A Little Bit About You

You are currently working as a Recruitment Coordinator looking to take the next step in your career. You possess demonstrated experience in sourcing exceptional talent and delivering end-to-end recruitment services in a fast paced environment. You bring with you a strong customer focus & enjoy partnering with stakeholders to identify current and anticipated people needs to effectively deliver the full recruitment life cycle for staff roles. As a trusted Recruiter you seek to:

  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to provide guidance, expertise and support to attract exceptional talent
  • Source, screen and on-board qualified candidates based on identified needs
  • Engage positively to create an exceptional customer experience both internally and externally
  • Enhance the Society's reputation as an employer of choice ensuring exceptional candidate care
You will be enthusiastic, highly organized, detail orientated and driven by a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service. You will bring a "hands on" approach and be a proactive operator who thrives on achieving great outcomes for your key stakeholders.
