JOB DESCRIPTION

About The Position

We are currently looking for an Investigator to join our Intervention and Enforcement team.

The position handles the external interventions function for the Board, where an independent practitioner is appointed to take over the management of a law practice or its trust account. The role involves liaison with a diverse group of stakeholders, problem solving as new issues arise and preparing papers and reports. From time to time, the position also works with others in the team to investigate and prosecute summary and indictable offences. The position requires a high level of understanding of how to interpret and apply legislation, especially the Legal Profession Uniform Law Application Act 2014.
