PeopleStart is an innovative HR consultancy with a head office based in West Perth. We are the outsourced HR and Recruitment team for a variety of businesses across Australia.

PeopleStart was founded in 2014 to provide medium sized businesses without a dedicated HR resource/team with practical and specialist HR advice, and to assist in the recruitment and attraction of key personnel which will allow those business to thrive.

Our team works together, bouncing ideas and sharing our strengths and workload with each other to provide the best strategies, advice, support and service to our clients.

Since our initial inception we have grown to work with a variety of fantastic clients across Mining, Oil and Gas, Not-For-Profits, Agriculture, Manufacturing, Science and Technology and Engineering to name just a few.

We have exclusively recruited large mine project operations teams, helped technology start-up businesses secure CEO’s, executive or technical staff to get their company off the ground and thriving, and supported a variety of medium business in managing their day to day HR activities and issues, implementing retention plans, performance systems, managing cultural transformation projects, building leadership programs and a number of other strategic HR initiatives.

Due to our continued growth we are looking for a Graduate or Junior HR Advisor to join our team.


Initially the role will be assisting Senior Advisors with HR Audits, Wage compliance, Fair Work advice and recruitment support.

You will then progress to higher level HR consulting such as providing our clients with specialist HR advice on employment conditions, contracts, policies, workplace law or best practice employee management. This will again be followed by your involvement in strategic HR projects covering enagement, workforce planning, transformation and change management.

What you take on will all depend on your particular skills & expertise and desired responsibility levels. The most important thing for us that the person we have is smart, capable, cares about the work they are doing (no matter how big a job or small) and believes in our values of Integrity, Honesty, People, Accountability and Community.
