AEIOU is a profit-for-purpose organisation, established in 2005 to deliver high-quality therapy and care. Our family-centred program meets the Guidelines for Good Practice and supports children with autism to develop essential life skills, independence, and confidence.

We are excited to offer experienced professionals the opportunity to join AEIOU in the critical role of HR Coordinator.

The position

The role of Coordinator sits within a multi-functional People & Culture Team and is responsible for a broad range of administrative tasks across the entire employee life cycle. The Coordinator plays a crucial role in the coordination of information flows for all people processes, contributing to the delivery of timely and efficient HR activities and outcomes. Key focus areas are:

  • Managing the PC&S group email, providing first level advice to our internal clients,
  • Developing new and variation contracts of employment
  • Coordinating & monitoring registrations and licences across the organisation to ensure compliance.
  • Supporting the People & Culture Business Partner with WH&S tasks
  • Providing as required support for recruitment activities.

The People, Culture & Safety team are in a period of significant change, and the coordinator will have opportunities to contribute to identifying innovative solutions & process improvements in support of automating & modernising practices.

To be successful in this role, you will need high attention to detail, well developed organisational & time management skills and be committed to building positive relationships with internal stakeholders. While the ability to work independently is important, the role is also required to consult and collaborate across the team.

Skills & Experience.

  • Minimum two years’ experience working within a Human Resources environment in an administrative role.
  • Working knowledge and understanding of current Industrial Relations, WH&S, Workers Compensation legislation
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills,
  • Experience in coordinating, and prioritising tasks and requests in a busy environment
  • Well-developed computer skills across the MS Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, Teams.

· HR Systems experience, including Ascender/Preceda will be well regarded.

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Human Resources highly regarded.

Note: A current Blue Card/NDIS Worker Screening Check is a mandatory requirement for working at AEIOU. If you do not hold a current ‘Paid Employee Blue Card’ you will need to apply, be approved for a combined NDIS Worker Screening Check clearance and Employee Blue Card before you can commence employment.
