JOB DESCRIPTION

This is an administrative role, managing the OHS, Risk Mitigation and Security for two corporate offices in Melbourne and New Zealand.







Client Details

Our client is globally renowned in an industry going through transformative change. Due to an internal promotion they are seeking a new employee to add great value and support to their collaborative business.

Description

    • Plan, implement, oversee and follow-up security & safety program's requirements in order to identify and mitigate all identified security and safety risks to people, property and reputation
    • Ensure that all risk mitigation plans, and emergency response procedures are implemented, routinely reviewed and employees are trained to minimise possible business disruption
    • Ensure compliance with relevant local legislation, principles & practice, standards, procedures and guidelines
    • Manage Safety, Security and OHS audits as required
    • Workcover Co-ordinator takes care of workcover audit which is part of self insurance
    • Manage the security and safety of our retail and supply chain operations throughout New Zealand
    • Provide support, guidance and authoritative advice on EH&S issues. Interpret and practically apply workplace EH&S legislation and codes of practice. Eg Covid evacuation





Profile

  • Previous experience in a safety management ideally within a global Retail or Corporate industry
  • Demonstrated experience and familiarity in the national safety and security arena
  • Developed knowledge of safety tools and security systems and experience in working with an international safety and security team
  • In-depth knowledge of OHS best practice
  • Relevant qualifications in Workplace Health & Safety or equivalent
  • Willingness to do whatever is required to ensure our success
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work on issues where analysis of situations or data requires deep knowledge of organisational objectives
