Regional Injury Management Advisor

We are delighted to share that we are now on the lookout for a Regional Injury Management Advisor based in Adelaide. This is a role where you will have multiple stakeholders across varying operational sites that all offer our customer unique supply chain solutions. Partnering with line and senior leaders you will design and implement best practice strategies in ensuring our team are correctly cared for and supported in getting back into the workforce. 

Some of your day to day duties could include:

  • Engage with the business to implement and maintain effective injury management, RTW and case management strategy
  • Develop, implement and monitor individual case management strategies to ensure early and sustainable return to work outcomes
  • Ensure appropriate RTW plans are in place and assist in the development of graded RTW plans for complex or serious injuries
  • Assist and coach line managers and business units in identifying appropriate suitable duty options within the workplace
  • Arrange and attend case conferences with injured workers and treating doctors to upgrade duties, address barriers to return to work and recovery and formulate Injury Management Plans
  • Conduct workplace rehabilitation assessments, including modifications and job redesign

Experience Required 

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in injury management or return to work positions
  • Knowledge of key rehabilitation and return to work aspects of the relevant Workers Compensation legislation
  • Proven experience in coaching and training on return to work and rehabilitation programs
  • Sound understanding of relevant legislation as it relates to injury and return to work management and the regulatory compliance framework
  • Tertiary qualifications in Allied Health (Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology or Nursing)
  • Valid driving license
