This is an exciting time to be apart of Catch. We are seeking a Training Solutions Advisor to support our new and first Fulfilment Centre based in Moorebank, NSW. This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to make an impact, who is self-motivated and takes initiative in their work. Based at the Melbourne Fulfilment Centre in Truganina, you’ll champion the NSW site and be proactive in communicating training needs as well as support the onsite Safety Advisor to forecast and build training plans. You’ll support the delivery of learning solutions in a manner that both engages the learner and produces outcomes.

What You’ll Be Doing

What does a normal day in the life of a Training Solutions Advisor look like?

Well, no two days are alike at Catch, but you could probably expect your typical day to include some of the following things

  • Coordinate training attendance, reporting, responding to learner and manager training needs and support the VIC and NSW Fulfilment Centre to build training foundations
  • Support the delivery and maintenance of the NSW Learning Management System
  • Establish, communicate and deliver state base training needs and ensure there is ongoing upskilling and retraining of all team members
  • Work with teams and managers to identify knowledge gaps and operational process improvements
  • Consult with internal and external stakeholders to review processes and provide constructive alternatives
  • Consult with managers to recommend and implement training programs that will prepare team members for the next step of their career paths
  • Produce targeted and tangible results by creating an efficient program to train team members
  • Facilitate operational and equipment/machinery based training to team members
  • Encourage participation and an “ideas bank” to foster ownership of training process as well as improvement
  • Interstate travel to the Fulfilment Centre in Moorebank


Requirements
  • Previous experience as a Training Advisor within a Transport, Logistics or Supply chain environment
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written and the ability to confidently facilitate/present group training
  • Ability to focus on key priorities, knowledge gaps and meet deadlines in a rapidly changing environment
  • Understanding of warehousing business operations
  • Strong organisational skills including the ability to manage multiple and often conflicting priorities, meet deadlines and proactively address training needs
  • Ability to motivate, coach, mentor and develop team members
  • Exposure to site safety, OHS procedures and an understanding of relevant legislation, company policies and awards
  • Strong problem solving skills and a passion to learn
  • Cert IV in Training is desired but not mandatory
  • Valid driver’s licence
