The Accounting Recruitment division of Randstad consists of operations across Adelaide, Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne and is a well-developed and successful team with over 40 highly engaged staff nationwide.

Within the business operating out of Melbourne,we have both an accounting support recruitment and a qualified accounting recruitment team. Due to Randstad’s strategy of investing in their employees over the past 6 months we have recently seen a period of growth.

Due to this growth and continued investment, we are currently seeking a recruitment consultant to join our accounting support recruitment business.

This role will have a defined geographical market and will see you recruiting accounts payable, accounts receivable, credit and assistant accountant roles for your clients.

Your aim is to contribute to the continued success of the accounting support team by developing business, filling jobs and delighting our clients with excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities Include

  • Client Management
  • Formulating a client business development plan, to support the achievement of sales targets.
  • Initiating a range of sales and marketing activities. Including sales calls, marketing emails, networking and holding events.
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with clients across the accounting sector in Victoria.
  • Keeping abreast of market and sector developments in order to provide clients with high quality market advice.
  • Negotiating and agreeing on commercial terms of business with clients.
  • Recruitment and Candidate Management
  • Finding great candidates.
  • Developing a network of candidates in the accounting support market.
  • Interviewing candidates.
  • Managing the interview, feedback and offer process with the client company’s hiring managers.
  • Placing the great candidates that you’ve found with our clients.
