Our engineering business has been strengthened through the acquisitions of Lendlease Engineering and the Geotech Group positioning ACCIONA as a leading provider of engineering services within the infrastructure sector. We provide services to public and private clients with a focus on Roads, Bridges and Tunnels, Rail and Civil Infrastructure projects.

ACCIONA Geotech Group Services are now looking for a Senior Specialist, Workforce Development, reporting to the Manager, Technical Training and Learning & Development and located in either our Melbourne or Sydney offices. The Senior Specialist, Workforce Development is responsible for the strategic development of employees in their current role and preparing employees for future roles and responsibilities. As the Senior Specialist, Workforce Development, you will develop and maintain a competency and currency framework for professional personnel, including Engineering, Accounting, Human Resources, Safety and Environmental discipline areas.

Your key objectives are, but not limited to:

· Collate and analyse workforce development needs as identified in performance reviews and development plans, in consultation with HR

· Provide input into workforce development plans for the business units in conjunction with HR

· Work with our business units and projects to coordinate plans with budget priorities and monitor on an ongoing basis

· Liaise with National Training Team members to capture evidence of white-collar employee competency in ACCIONA Competency Management systems, including Lucidity

· Manage relationships with external learning and development stakeholders such as universities, Registered Training Organizations, Industry Training Advisory Bodies and Skills Service Organizations

· Provide reports using QlikView and other tools as required

To be suitable for this role, you have relevant tertiary qualifications and some years of experience working in a construction environment, with exposure to coordinating training for both blue - collar and white – collar employees. To be the preferred candidate you possess the Construction Induction White Card and Certificate IV Training and Assessment, proficiency in Excel and excellent communications skills.
