About the Role

The Senior Injury Management/Return to Work Coordinator will:

  • Provide expert injury management advice and support to employees, managers and the executive group

  • Ensure that Barwon Health is meeting its Return to Work legislative requirements in line with the WIRC Act 2013.

  • Manage work related injuries and illnesses, early intervention initiatives and non-work related injuries and illnesses effectively to support staff to remain at work, or to achieve the earliest possible return to work after injury/illness.

  • Be a consultative link between all parties involved in the injured employee’s injury management and return to work.

  • Oversee the development of Injury Management and Return to Work strategies and policies.

  • Monitor the WorkCover premium impact to the organisation for all claims.
