To address the increased activity across our Infrastructure Projects function, we are now seeking an expression of interest from experienced Human Resources Advisor for NSW with the opportunity to support on some of the most exciting, high-profile and complex infrastructure projects in NSW.

ABOUT THE ROLE

In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Works with the business to ensure that actions are aligned to the overall strategy &direction and integrated into business practice.
  • Coach/support on people matters and act as a trusted advisor.
  • Be a facilitator and leader in HR policy and processes. 
  • Provide expert advice on all facets of human resources including performance, employee development and engagement, employee relations including EBA negotiations and contract/industrial instrument interpretation.
  • Build strong working relationships with all key internal client groups.
  • Coach on HR practices and be accountable for HR program delivery across the business. 
  • Conduct investigations with best practice processes.
  • Develop a culture of personal accountability and create an environment that encourages and rewards successful performance.

ABOUT YOU

You have previous experience in Human Resources in a construction / engineering industry. 

Other requirements include:

  • Degree of Human Resources and/ or Business.
  • ‘Hands on’ experience and viewed as a credible, trusted as a Human Resources Advisor.
  • Ability to proactively build relationships with key internal and external stakeholders/clients and create business value.
  • Ability to build and maintain a wide knowledge and understanding of the business environment and strategies; translating these into specific HR tactics and actions.
  • Proven interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Working effectively across an organisation to negotiate effective outcomes,
  • Consult with and influence others to progress towards a common goal in partnership.
  • Specialist skills in human resources e.g. industrial relations; remuneration; learning and development and change management.
